Nauvo

The classic naval grid duel, rebuilt

Both fleets fire at once.

Nauvo is a 90-second naval duel. Place three ships, fire three shots every twelve seconds, and find out together who hit first. No turns, no waiting.

What it is

You know the classic naval grid duel: hidden ships, called shots, the slow back-and-forth of taking turns. Nauvo keeps the game and removes the waiting.

Both fleets fire at once. Nobody waits their turn. A match runs about ninety seconds start to finish, which is short enough to fit in a queue, a lift ride, or the two minutes before a meeting.

Play a stranger, a friend, or a training fleet. Place your ships, fire your volleys, and watch the outcome resolve together in one reveal, win or lose.

How it works

01

Secret placement

Place three ships on your own 8x8 grid: a two-cell Destroyer, a three-cell Cruiser, a four-cell Carrier. You get 25 seconds; a shuffle button places the whole fleet instantly if you're in a hurry.

02

Simultaneous volleys

Every twelve seconds, you and your opponent each secretly pick three target cells. Neither of you can see the other's picks while the clock is running.

03

The reveal

Both salvos land at the same moment. You find out what you hit and what they hit you, together, in one choreographed reveal, not a turn-by-turn drip.

04

The rematch

Every duel ends the same way: one tap to go again. Sink fast, get hit hard, and fire another round.
